Hi, I’m Aidan. Welcome! I’m yay-ful you’re here.

I'm a stand-up comedian, public speaker, certified life coach and bestselling author.

I’ve been on television, in movies, performed internationally as a headlining comedian and authored the bestselling book, The Art of Being Yay: The OMG NSFW Memoir and Guide to Authentic Joy. However, those things are not what make me unique. What makes me a strange bird is I am often described by friends and peers as quite possibly being the gayest man in the world; gay as in happy. Although I am, in fact, also gay. Surprise! I’m a happy guy full of boundless optimism, hope and joy.

Because I genuinely like to smile (a lot) people just assume I must have received lucky breaks all my life which make me happy go lucky. Folks are completely surprised to learn I was raised by a single grandmother in abject poverty. I did not learn English until I was nine. I was teased as a kid, constantly. I was an undocumented immigrant until age 20 and due to my undocumented status, I was not able to work. So, I became an entrepreneur, a craigslist sex service worker; a career that ended when I received an HIV diagnosis at age 19. I was also homeless at that time. Then, in 2018 I lost my dear husband of five years to cancer. Although I've had my share of struggles, I'm grateful I had them. Through my life’s challenges, I learned joy and empowerment can lead you to your YAY! And with or without a set of what people might consider favorable circumstances everyone has an innate YAY! When given the proper tools your YAY! is conveniently accessible. I’m here to help you live a yay-ful lifestyle!

I share my knowledge with nonprofit organizations, corporations, colleges and comedy clubs across the country. Here are some of the wonderful organizations I’ve worked with recently.
